The Plant offers two venues in San Francisco, both well tailored for special events.
Our main event space is The Plant at Pier 3 on the Embarcadero. The award winning greenly designed space is both comfortable and elegant, perfect for casual, corporate or formal events.
Filling an old waterfront warehouse, it offers high ceilings, tall historic windows and waterfront seating. Situated on the Embarcadero with paid parking next door, 3 minutes walk from the Ferry building and BART, Pier 3 is a convenient destination.
The space offers a covered heated waterfront patio, comfortable with stunning backdrop overlooking the bay bridge accommodating up to 50 seated and 100 standing. On warm summer days, our outdoor space wraps around to the Embarcadero facing side of the building under the lights of the city. Adjoined to the patio is a spacious main dining room with zinc bar and warm pizza oven accommodating 70 seated and 110 standing. There is also a private mezzanine above the kitchen for intimate seated groups of 25 or less, standing room up to 35.
Our second event space is The Plant Downtown on the corner of Front and Pine. This space offers an elegant downtown setting available for events after 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. It's perfect for after work engagements or quiet weekend parties in the downtown core of SF. With simple classic design, cozy layout and open kitchen, the downtown Plant can accommodate standing receptions up to 80 or 60 seated.
